SheKoro Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR.
What we collect
Information you give us (name, email, audit answers), and information collected automatically (basic usage analytics, device info, cookies you accept).
Health information (special category data)
The SheKoro audit includes an optional health check — questions about your height, weight, waist measurement, age, ethnicity, existing medical conditions, and current medication. Under UK GDPR this is "special category" health data, and it comes with extra protection:
- The health check is always optional. Skipping it doesn't affect your free SheKoro plan.
- We only ask for it, and only use it, with your explicit consent, given separately from the rest of the audit.
- It's stored apart from your general audit answers, in a restricted database table that no public part of our website or app can read back.
- It's used only to (a) flag whether a conversation with a clinician about medical weight-loss support could be worth exploring, and (b) give that clinician the full picture if you choose to have that conversation. It is never used to diagnose, prescribe, or make any treatment decision — those decisions are made only by a qualified clinician, in a consultation.
- If you go on to have a clinical consultation, the relevant health information is shared with our clinical partner under a data-sharing agreement, so their clinician has what they need to assess you safely. It is not shared with anyone else, and never for marketing purposes.
- We keep health data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and delete it sooner on request.
How we use it
To personalise your SheKoro plan, deliver community access, send the email series you opted into, and improve the service.
Sharing
We never sell your data. We share only with processors required to deliver the service (e.g. email provider) under data-processing agreements, and — only with your consent, and only where relevant — with our clinical partner as described above.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, or export your data — including withdrawing consent for health data at any time — by emailing privacy@shekoro.com.
